Bluelight is seeking a backend engineer to design and develop high-performance systems using Elixir and the Phoenix framework. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into well-architected services and own features from conception to release.

You should have 3+ years of backend development experience, strong Elixir/Phoenix skills, and experience with OTP, concurrent/distributed systems, and RESTful APIs (or GraphQL).

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development, backend-focused.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems, and functional programming principles.
• Proven experience designing/building RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) and relational databases (PostgreSQL) via Ecto.
• Strong product sense and passion for building reliable, scalable systems.
• Excellent communication and collaborative, agile teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Build, design, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to launch, including specs, code, and release.
• Write unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
