Bluelightconsulting is a growing software consultancy seeking an experienced Elixir backend engineer. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs and services, collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software.

You will own features end-to-end, write tests, optimize performance, and contribute to a robust release process. The role requires 3+ years of backend development, with strong Elixir/Phoenix skills and PostgreSQL knowledge.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend software development with Elixir
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and Phoenix framework
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems
• Design and build RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) and PostgreSQL (Ecto)
• Strong product sense and proactive collaboration in Agile teams

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and optimize backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix
• Collaborate with product, design and other engineers to translate requirements into scalable services
• Own features from conception to deployment, including specs and release processes
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance and fault tolerance
• Stay up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem and best practices
