Bluelight is seeking a backend engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance Elixir backends and APIs, collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into scalable services.

You will own features from conception to launch, write tests, and continuously improve performance. This role offers remote-friendly working hours and opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, backend focus.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems, and functional programming.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL (Ecto).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to launch, including writing technical specs and clean code.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve application performance and reliability.
• Stay current with Elixir ecosystem trends to drive innovation.
