Zendesk is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the presales team in AMER with a focus on English-speaking customers. You will work with Account Executives to understand mid-market requirements, demonstrate Zendesk’s core platform and AI solutions, and build deep product expertise to drive sales cycles.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical technology experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in solution engineering, technical support, implementation consulting, or customer success in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Comfortable with APIs, JSON structures, webhooks, and browser troubleshooting tools.
• AI fluency with generative AI landscape and workflow architecture.
• Baseline knowledge of customer service metrics, CRM systems, or help desk workflows.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually for regional presentations and events.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver tailored demonstrations, showcasing Zendesk core capabilities and AI solutions.
• Support discovery conversations to uncover challenges, system dependencies, and integration requirements.
• Build standard sandbox environments and proof-of-concept setups to validate customer needs.
• Address security, architectural, and RFP/RFI questionnaires to support deals.
• Leverage internal templates, scripts, and API recipes to ensure quality deliverables.
