Job summary

Paired is seeking a rapid-fire ad scriptwriter to fuel our client's DTC video campaigns. You will craft 60–90s founder-style scripts for Facebook/Instagram, plus short-form, AI-generated, and variant scripts, with clear visuals and strong CTAs. This remote role demands high English proficiency, high output, and data-driven creativity to drive action.

Qualifications

• Excellent written English with strong tone and persuasion.
• Experience writing direct-response, performance, or social video ads.
• Ability to produce high volumes of quality work without dropping quality.
• Comfortable reviewing ad performance and extracting insights from spreadsheets.
• Strong understanding of hooks, angles, CTAs, and iterative testing.

Responsibilities

• Write approximately 100 video ad scripts per month initially, scaling to around 200/month by December.
• Analyze ad performance to identify what messaging, hooks, and angles are working.
• Develop new scripts based on proven performance insights and adapt winning concepts into variations.
• Write clear, engaging copy designed to drive action and provide simple visual directions.
• Brief each script with visual notes for the person creating the ad; collaborate via Slack.
