Job summary

Nicholas & Company, a long-established foodservice distributor, is seeking a Payroll Administrator for 100% remote work from Mexico. You will support U.S.

payroll operations across multiple locations, handling full-cycle processing, variable compensation, and data reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role offers cross-functional collaboration with HR and Finance and opportunities to streamline payroll workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll administration with full-cycle processing.
• Experience with U.S. payroll operations.
• Knowledge of U.S. payroll taxes and wage-hour regulations.
• Experience reconciling payroll data and resolving discrepancies.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Professional English communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and support full-cycle payroll for a multi-location workforce.
• Manage regular and supplemental payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness.
• Administer commissions, bonuses, incentives, and other variable compensation.
• Review payroll data to identify discrepancies before submission.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve inconsistencies.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll information in systems.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Support audits and internal controls.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
