Job summary

Cummins Inc. in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, is seeking a North America Payroll Manager to lead the Payroll team within HR Operations.

Hybrid work model with on-site and home office days supports global/ regional process standardization and payroll compliance for the Americas region. The candidate will oversee payroll for multiple states/countries, coordinate with IT, Finance and HR, and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a team of payroll analysts.
• Strong knowledge of US and Canadian payroll regulations and labor laws.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a Payroll Leadership role.
• Experience with Payroll/Time & Attendance/HR ERP systems, preferably ADP Global View, SAP, Kronos/ADP eTime and Oracle HCM.
• Experience in ADP Smart Compliance (Garnishments).
• Functional knowledge of systems referenced above using in-house or processing services model with ADP GlobalView.
• Experience with in-house, large multi-state payroll processing and expatriate payroll.
• Advanced English language required.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistent payroll processes across assigned country/s and regional standardization.
• Analyze technologies and processes to drive continuous improvement and change initiatives.
• Own oversight of payroll to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and leverage approved technology to fit objectives.
• Plan, manage and execute daily payroll processes including expatriate payroll.
• Collaborate with HR Operations, IT, Finance to ensure data flow and reporting.
• Provide SME counsel on payroll requirements and system integration.
