Job summary

Applause is seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative to generate demos for Account Executives by making outbound calls and sending emails to SMB prospects. The role supports trade show outreach and booth promotion, with 100% remote work and flexible hours.

You will focus the majority of your time on outbound activity, represent the product compellingly, and schedule demos for qualified leads, driving pipeline growth with AEs.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years outbound B2B SaaS sales experience and proven SDR quota achievement.
• Strong written and verbal communication with SMB decision-makers.
• Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot/Salesforce) for prospecting and pipeline work.
• Comfort with 200+ outbound calls per day in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Outbound Engagement: 80%+ time on outbound calls and emails to engage SMB prospects.
• Product Representation: Represent Applause with integrity and passion for the product.
• Prospect Education: Explain value of Applause and generate awareness.
• Demo Scheduling: Set qualified demos for interested SMB prospects with AEs.
• Trade Show Engagement: Call attendees, encourage booth visits, nurture leads.
