Job summary

Entrepreneur Cooperative is hiring a Loan Processor & Underwriter for a fully remote role serving LATAM. You will own underwriting, document collection, and file quality from initial review through conditions clearance, working with borrowers, brokers and originators in a fast-paced private lending environment.

The ideal candidate has 1.5+ years at a U.S. hard money or private lender, strong English, and the ability to manage complex loan files with accuracy and speed.

Qualifications

• At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience at a U.S. hard money or private real estate lender.
• Practical underwriting and loan processing experience.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience with Gmail, CRM (GHL or similar) and online loan portals.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite business-purpose loans (Fix & Flip, Bridge, DSCR, Ground-Up Construction).
• Analyze credit, borrower experience, liquidity, LTV/LTC, and exit strategy.
• Approve loans within guidelines and manage exceptions.
• Collect, verify and organize borrower and property documents.
• Maintain loan files in the portal and CRM; track appraisals and corrections.
• Communicate with originators and borrowers; resolve conditions promptly.
• Coordinate with closer to fund loans and address post-closing deficiencies.
