Job summary

Compass is seeking a proactive M&A Associate (Contractor through Deel) based in Mexico to support post-close purchase price true-ups, earnouts, and financial diligence across LATAM deals. You will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and acquired businesses, ensuring timely deliverables and accurate schedules.

You will build earnout models, track performance against targets, and assist with closing activities while maintaining clear communication with the NY-based Corporate Development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field with 2–4 years of relevant finance, accounting, or transaction advisory experience.
• Post-close true-up or earnout experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel, financial modeling, and reconciliations capabilities.
• Ability to work independently on post-close workstreams with guidance from the M&A lead.
