Job summary

Bluelight Consulting LLC is seeking an Account Executive to win new business with US-based startups and enterprises. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation and close, targeting technology leaders who need to scale quickly while maintaining quality.

You’ll engage with CTOs, VPs of Engineering and founders, build tailored solutions with our technical teams, and forecast revenue to meet quarterly targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience selling professional services, IT services, software development or SaaS.
• Experience owning a full sales cycle and closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
• A consultative sales approach focused on uncovering client needs and delivering value.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to proposal and close.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand prospects' challenges and needs.
• Create tailored proposals, pitch decks and statements of work with delivery teams.
• Engage senior decision-makers including CTOs and VPs of Engineering to build trust.
• Forecast revenue accurately and meet or exceed quarterly targets.
• Coordinate with SDRs, delivery and leadership for smooth handoffs and outcomes.
• Represent Bluelight at events and industry gatherings to generate opportunities.
