Job summary

Danfoss in Mexico is seeking an Application Engineering Manager, HVAC/R, to lead a team serving Food Retail and Industrial Refrigeration customers. You will align customer needs with technical expertise to drive growth across Mexico and support North America, shaping product improvements with market insights.

You will coach a high-performing team, collaborate with sales and global product groups, and ensure superior customer support and operational excellence in a sustainable growth agenda.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Travel regionally (and sometimes internationally) – approx. 40%.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Onsite availability at Apodaca facility, Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Application Engineering and Technical Support teams across Mexico and the United States.
• Partner with sales and key accounts to support projects and growth.
• Guide technical solution development and product applications for reliable system performance.
• Drive customer support processes and collaborate with global teams.
• Build scalable tools and metrics to improve responsiveness and satisfaction regionally.
