Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Manager for our Apodaca, MX site. You will lead the manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across assembly, welding, testing, painting and packaging.

You will develop engineers and technicians, drive continuous improvement, manage maintenance strategies, and collaborate across functions to maintain high equipment availability and product quality for HVAC applications.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing engineering and maintenance in high-volume environments.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical or electromechanical manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver measurable improvements.
• Hands-on with structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance activities across assembly, welding, testing, painting and packaging to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operations.
• Maximize equipment uptime and reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and rapid technical response.
• Strengthen process control and quality through robust documentation, error-proofing, and change-management.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction by improving throughput and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
