Job summary

ABB in Nogales seeks a Technical Product Manager to support sales, commercial teams and engineering daily operations. You will collaborate with IT, Materials, Production and Quality to drive initiatives on site.

You will analyze customer requirements, provide technical data to Sales, assist with new projects, and guide product selection and order placement. You will join a collaborative team that solves real problems and grows together.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electromechanical or electrical).
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• Team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and orientation to the sales and commercial team while supporting daily engineering tasks.
• Coordinate with IT, Materials, Production and Quality on ongoing initiatives and projects.
• Assist Customer Service with product troubleshooting and align on customer requirements.
• Provide technical data to Sales/Commercial teams as needed.
• Support new projects from the Commercial team and identify impactful products for future projects.
• Guide product selection and order placement to customers.
• Provide reports to the Engineering Leader and Technology Manager.

Your Role: Meet the Challenge

In this role, you will be responsible for giving service and orientation to sales and commercial team while provides support in daily basis to engineering department.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the the ELSB Transformers Business Line based in Nogales.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Work closely with IT, Materials, Production and Quality departments to support ongoing initiatives, new projects, and daily tasks.
• Coordination with Customer Service to assist in customer product troubleshooting.
• Analyze and provide possible products meeting customer requirements.
• Provide technical data to Sales and Commercial teams when required.
• Provide support to new projects from Commercial team.
• Identify and be aware about which products have or may have significant impacts on sales to be included on future projects.
• Give orientation in products selection and orders placement.
• Provide reports to Engineering Leader and Technology Manager.
