Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience in similar positions.
• Advanced English is required for this role.
• Knowledge in electrical and mechanical drawings development and interpretation.
• Experience in EPLAN, AutoCAD, CREO, and Solidworks.
• Experience working with LV switchboards, switchgear, MCC or panelboards.
• Hands-on learning, problem-solving, initiative, curiosity, and contributing to the manufacturing process.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity.
• Complete assignments on multiple small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
• Ensure assignments meet contract specs, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies.
• Prepare work plans and cost estimates for project portfolios within budget.
• Coordinate with relevant functions to ensure designs are manufactured, tested, installed, and commissioned.
• Coach engineering colleagues in translating conceptual designs to engineering documents and best practices.
• Perform design verification according to applicable standards and guidelines.

This position reports to:

Senior Project Engineer

Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.

The work model for this role is: On site

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business, based in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
• Working customers to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
• Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted budget.
• Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure that designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
• Coaching engineering colleagues translating of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.
• Performing design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
