Vertiv Group Corporation seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee safety, quality, and productivity in the manufacturing department. You will coordinate production staff, align with management on scheduling and capacity, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication in a bilingual English/Spanish environment, with experience using ERP/MRP systems and MS Office suite.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Bilingual 80% English -Spanish preferred.
• MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP system.
• Production and Processing — knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Mechanical — knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Administration and Management — knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
• Personnel and Human Resources — knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, safety, and labor relations.
• Engineering and Technology — knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.

Responsabilidades

• Enforce Safety and Environmental regulations.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in production or processing of goods.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure conformity with standards.
• Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for workers.
• Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records to determine production requirements.
• Communicate daily the customer’s order status and corrective actions required to maintain schedule and quality.
• Prepare action plans to recover production or past dues.
