Prattwhitney in Mexicali is seeking a Customer Service Intern to assist with order and quote follow-up and to support administration of customer requests. The role involves coordinating export compliance, invoicing with Finance, and working with Shipping to ensure on-time deliveries.

Ideal candidates are in their final semesters of an administration or related field, with strong English skills and problem-solving ability.

Job Summary

The Customer Service Intern will assist with follow‑up for all orders and quotes, along with the administration of customer requests. The role supports order administration for customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer inquiries, including correspondence concerning sales order status, order changes, and billing/receivables questions;
• Generate and distribute orders and quote summaries when required;
• Ensure export policies and procedures compliance, including license applications, proper export classification on the sales order, and customer denied parties screening;
• Work with Finance to process customer invoices;
• Work with Inventory Planning and Shipping to create and facilitate deliveries, ensuring customer requirements are met;
• Create and maintain special tracking and customer reports.

What You Will Learn

• Collaborate and build networks within Global Asset Management, Global Trade, Finance, Sales, etc.;
• Understand Service Level Agreements to prioritize and meet customer expectations;
• Utilize multiple customer collaboration tools/portals and SAP transactions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the final semesters of an administration or related field;
• 90% English level – proficiency and fluency in English;
• Problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
