Job summary

Hitachi Energy Mexico, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Sales Support Engineer who bridges technology and sales. You will build technical and commercial proposals, collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and clients, and guide offers with your substations knowledge.

You will grow quickly, developing commercial skills alongside deep technical knowledge, becoming a trusted voice in client negotiations and product presentations while ensuring compliance and accurate cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Systems.
• Experience in application engineering, technical sales or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals based on client specifications and sales strategy.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings with the project team.
• Create and review local sales support strategies aligned with global direction.
• Ensure all competitive proposals reflect current market conditions and client context.
• Contribute to risk review processes in line with company policies.
• Develop technical descriptions of products and electrical solutions for proposals.
• Estimate costs and prepare final proposal documentation with accuracy.
• Serve as the key technical resource during client meetings and negotiations.
• Support product and solution presentations, including training-related offers.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
