Rapido Solutions Group, based in Guadalajara, Mexico, is seeking a Carrier Operations Representative to support day-to-day logistics tasks and service levels for key accounts. You will handle track and trace, bookings, and carrier communications, ensuring on-time performance and accurate documentation while working closely with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced transportation environment.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a monthly MXN 20,000 salary and a punctuality bonus,

Formación

• Minimum 1 year in a similar carrier operations role.
• Fluent in English (B2) and strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Update shipment statuses in internal systems and escalate when needed.
• Perform track and trace to ensure on-time performance and resolve issues.
• Manage load bookings and confirm all shipment details.
• Contact carriers for time-sensitive updates and log information.
• Monitor internal channels and respond to requests from customers and carriers.
• Provide timely customer interaction and support for assigned accounts.
• Assist with spot quoting based on requirements and market conditions.
• Proactively communicate issues to stakeholders for quick resolution.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow in logistics.

Carrier Operations Representatives work in conjunction with Carrier Sales Representatives to prioritize and service customers and carriers in a timely and efficient manner. This role supports day to day operations including track and trace, load bookings, customer interaction, and spot quoting for key accounts.

What You’ll Do

• Accurately update and document shipment statuses in internal systems while properly communicating any escalations.
• Perform track and trace (TT) functions, ensuring on-time performance and resolving any in-transit issues.
• Manage load bookings, ensuring all shipment details are confirmed, accurate, and properly executed.
• Contact carriers to obtain time-sensitive updates and ensure all information is recorded correctly.
• Monitor team communication channels and respond to both internal requests and external carrier inquiries.
• Provide timely customer interaction and support, ensuring a high level of service for assigned accounts.
• Assist with spot quoting when needed, based on customer requirements and market conditions.
• Proactively communicate issues to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure quick and effective resolution.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow within the transportation and logistics industry.
• Contribute to a positive team environment through a strong work ethic and collaborative mindset.

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Strong team oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• At least 1 year in a similar position
• Excellent multitasking skills and comfort working with various technology platforms and systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems and tools.
• Interest in or knowledge of freight market trends, including seasonality, geography, and carrier types.
• Strong sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain productive internal and external relationships.
• Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
• Confidence in communicating with carriers and resolving issues effectively.
• Experience or exposure to track and trace, load booking, customer service, and quoting processes is preferred.
• Fluent in English with strong attention to detail.
