Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Onsite X86 Systems Support Specialist in Mexico City to provide Level 1 technical support for X86 servers, both hardware and software. The role requires enterprise experience, Windows, Linux, networking know-how, and strong customer service skills.

You will work from an HPE partner or customer site, collaborating with engineering, product support, and account teams, and contribute to knowledge bases and service improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting hardware and software for X86 servers in enterprise environments.
• A plus with knowledge of HPE Proliant systems.
• Experience supporting OS Windows server, Linux and Networking concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English language.
• Availability to work extended rotating shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Level 1 technical support for incidents related to X86 servers for hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues, escalating to engineering teams when necessary.
• Apply patches, firmware updates, and coordinate software upgrades with customer change management processes.
• Collaborate in incidents follow up and documentation.
• Execute servers Add-on as requested and agreed with customer.
• Register and control systems hardware and software inventories, including licenses, users, etc.
• Apply continuous systems monitoring.
• Participate in customer review meetings and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with HPE internal and external teams, including engineering, product support, and account management.
• Share knowledge and best practices with peers and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
