Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP in Mexico City is seeking an Onsite Field Technical Support & Tech Consulting specialist to support X86 servers at partner/customer offices. This full-time role requires hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting with a proactive service mindset.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to apply patches, firmware updates, and software upgrades, maintain inventories, and contribute to continual service improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting hardware and software for X86 servers in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting OS Windows Server, Linux and Networking concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Level 1 technical support for incidents related to X86 servers for hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues, escalating to engineering teams when necessary.
• Apply patches, firmware updates, and coordinate software upgrades with customer change management processes.
• Collaborate in incidents follow up and documentation.
• Execute servers Add-on as requested and agreed with customer.
• Register and control systems hardware and software inventories, including licenses, users, etc.
• Apply continuous systems monitoring.
• Participate in customer review meetings and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with internal and external teams, including engineering, product support, and account management.
• Share knowledge and best practices with peers and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
