Job summary

Copeland is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide end-user support across software, hardware, and systems, including networking and communications platforms. The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, system projects, and automation tasks.

The position is onsite in Guadalajara, Mexico, with a focus on reliability, security, and adherence to IT policies. Ideal candidates have three years of related experience, strong knowledge of computer hardware/software, Windows OS, LAN/WAN

Qualifications

Three years of experience in a similar IT support role.
Proficiency with standard computer applications.
Experience with Windows operating systems.
Strong foundational knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Fluent English communication (around 70%).
Know-how of LAN/WAN networks.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, printers, and related peripherals.
Provide technical support to end users for software, hardware, and systems issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for computer equipment, printers, and servers to ensure reliability.
Identify and implement IT solutions in collaboration with business units to support objectives.
Develop and implement software and hardware initiatives to improve efficiency.
Manage and support IT-approved equipment and networks per standards.
Administer user accounts and permissions across information systems.
