Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site diagnostics and repair for data center hardware within a defined territory in Mexico. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize storage networks, servers, and related configurations, often working after hours on scheduled SLAs.

You will travel to client sites, interface with customer support, manage parts, and document work using Field Point and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with OEM data center hardware.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 75%.
• CompTIA A+ and Server+ required.
• Ability to work 24/7 on‑call.
• Strong customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides onsite technical customer support and timely responses to service needs.
• Can be scheduled for shifts any time of day, both on-site and remote.
• Performs hardware/software diagnostics, identifies parts, and minimizes downtime.
• Maintains effective communication with customer and support center during repairs.
• Manages inventory counts and parts returns.
• Completes audit forms, timesheets and expense reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
