Job summary

Duxi Finanzas is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to manage the complete payroll cycle for employees in Mexico City. You will ensure accurate salary calculations, overtime, bonuses, and commissions while handling statutory deductions and employer contributions.

You will also manage onboarding, changes in status, leaves, and offboarding, calculating severance and settlements per local regulations. The role requires strong Excel use and strict confidentiality, with bilingual Spanish/English

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience in Mexico.
• Deep knowledge of Mexican labor and tax laws (LFT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, LISR).
• Experience with payroll software and Excel.
• High degree of accuracy and strict data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accurate and timely execution of the full payroll cycle (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) for all employees, ensuring proper calculation of salaries, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.
• Calculate, declare, and manage all statutory deductions and employer contributions, including IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, ISR, and ISN. Manage portals such as SUA and IDSE.
• Process payroll implications for onboarding, status changes, leaves, and offboarding. Compute severance, final settlements, and liquidations per local law.
• Manage and calculate statutory and supplementary benefits such as vacation premium, aguinaldo, PTU, fondo de ahorro, and vouchers.
• Ensure payroll operations comply with LFT and current tax regulations; stay updated on legal changes.
• Generate periodic payroll reports, journal entries, and variance analyses; support audits with accurate records.
• Act as primary contact for employee pay-related inquiries, handling issues with confidentiality.
