Job summary

Carrier in Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling. The role emphasizes Lean principles, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

The position requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with manufacturing engineering focus.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, and production support in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts (5S, TPM, Kaizen, VSM, SMED) and process capability analysis.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Minitab. Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, including machinery, equipment, tooling, automation systems, and production methods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles, TPM, Kaizen, VSM, setup reduction (SMED), process balancing, and other methodologies.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using PFMEA, Control Plans, RRCA, SPC, Cpk/Ppk, and other quality tools.
• Manage engineering change projects and process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity metrics.
• Supervise and develop technical support personnel while establishing training and certification programs for critical manufacturing operations.
