Garrett Advancing Motion in Mexicali, Mexico, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost control.

You will hire, onboard, and evaluate production staff, manage attendance and payroll issues, coordinate production plans, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining health, safety, and environmental compliance. The role also requires leadership of 20+ employees and strong project management skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in production supervisor, process/manufacturing engineering or equivalent leadership.
• English (advanced).
• Ability to manage a staff of 20+ employees.
• Project management and presentation skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of basic GD&T and blueprint reading measuring techniques.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems & Standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost control requirements.
• Hiring, onboarding, and evaluating production employees, fostering a safe and positive work environment, and managing daily attendance and payroll issues.
• Coordinates production plans, checks equipment readiness, and ensures efficient utilization of resources to meet customer demands while maintaining safety standards.
• Leads continuous improvement activities and ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
