Job summary

Carrier in Mexico requires a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead manufacturing engineering activities that support production performance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, engineering changes, and productivity improvements while providing technical leadership to engineering and production teams. This role drives operational excellence and ensures compliance with manufacturing and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering in high‑volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, automation systems and PLCs.
• Experience applying Lean tools: 5S, TPM, VSM, Kaizen, SMED, Takt Time, DMAIC, SPC, Cpk/Ppk.
• Excellent communication, project management and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and proficient English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Manufacturing Engineers to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and standards compliance.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, automation, and standardized work instructions.
• Identify and drive cost reductions, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methods.
• Support problem‑solving through PFMEA, Control Plans, RCCA, SPC, and data analysis tools.
• Manage engineering change projects, process documentation, training, and certification programs for critical operations.
