Job summary

SLS Playa Mujeres Cancún is seeking a Training Manager to lead the hotel’s training and talent development. You will design and implement annual training plans, onboarding, leadership programs, and coordinate across all departments to elevate service standards.

Reporting to the People & Culture team, you will measure program effectiveness, foster a culture of continuous learning, and partner with leaders on career growth and engagement in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in Training & Development within hospitality.
• Experience designing and implementing training programs.
• Knowledge of organizational and leadership development.
• Experience managing training KPIs and evaluating program effectiveness.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the hotel's annual training plan.
• Develop onboarding, operational training, and leadership programs.
• Ensure compliance with brand service and training standards.
• Identify training needs via assessments and performance reviews.
• Coordinate training across all hotel departments.
• Coach leaders to strengthen management and communication skills.
• Measure training effectiveness with KPIs and metrics.
• Foster continuous learning, engagement, and development.
• Coordinate training on quality, safety, and service standards.
• Maintain training records, reports, and documentation.
• Partner with department leaders on talent development and career growth.
• Drive initiatives to enhance employee and guest experiences.
• Plan and oversee internal hotel events promoting belonging.
