Omni Hotels & Resorts seeks a Conference Services Manager for Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita. You will coordinate all aspects of group events, liaise between clients and operations, and drive exceptional service from pre‑opening through completion.

The role requires 3–5 years in conference services, strong communications, and a professional presence in a luxury hotel environment. On‑site work and a focus on elite events are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in conference services, preferably as a manager at a large convention hotel.
• Professional appearance and presentation.
• Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Delphi.
• Experience with citywide conferences.
• CMP certification or similar industry designation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare group resumes ten days prior to group arrival and review details weekly.
• Adhere to the Catering and Conference Services SOPs.
• Help establish and maintain the resort’s elite position within social and corporate communities.
• Follow established SOPs for all staff to manage the event planning process.
• Ensure successful site inspections and client visits by planning ahead and communicating details.
• Aim for high Medallia scores by building client rapport and staying visible during conferences.
• Generate high revenue from contracted rooms, function space, and catered events.
• Conduct pre- and post-conference meetings with clients.
• Ensure client accounts are serviced per resort standards.
• Coordinate with Banquet Managers and relay client requests to departments.
• Ensure Banquet Event Orders are accurate and shared 15 days prior to events.
• Adhere to selling policies set by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
• Remain available to resort managers on property.
• Maintain awareness of departmental revenue and upsell opportunities.
• Participate in all regular and operational meetings.
