Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita is seeking a Director of Spa to lead all aspects of spa operations during pre-opening and ongoing operations. You will supervise the Spa Manager, therapists, and technicians, develop profitable spa programs, and drive guest satisfaction in a luxury, oceanfront setting.
The role requires strong budgeting, staff leadership, and marketing skills, with adaptation to the resort’s upscale, destination-driven experience.
Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita
Opening in early 2027, Omni Hotels & Resorts has officially broken ground and construction is well underway on Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita, the brand’s first luxury resort in Mexico. Staying true to the brand’s mission of creating elevated places and spaces that are inspired by a destination, the resort’s exterior and interiors will pay homage to the local culture with a contemporary twist.
This beachfront resort will feature 244 guest rooms and suites and two 4-bedroom villas with sweeping views of the Bay of Banderas. Complementing the local area’s many attractions and activities, the resort will offer three original restaurant concepts, a destination spa with 14 treatment rooms, two retail shops, multiple pools including adult-only and family-friendly options, a state‑of‑the‑art indoor and outdoor fitness center, and a kids club. Boasting over 27,000 square feet of meeting and event space, the Omni Pontoque will feature a 6,000 square foot ballroom, an open‑air pavilion, multiple event lawns and dedicated meeting rooms, all of which provide breathtaking ocean views.
Slated to open in early 2027, Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita will debut as the first Omni Hotels & Resorts property to be directly owned and operated in Mexico — an oceanfront sanctuary of beauty poised to set a new benchmark for ultra‑luxury hospitality in the region. With 202 elegant guest rooms, 42 spacious suites and two private villas, a full‑service spa, three infinity‑edge pools, three signature restaurants, and 27,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, the resort invites guests to experience effortless sophistication.
The Director of Spa is responsible for the overall operational function and management of the spa, demonstrating leadership throughout the spa and resort to maximize guest and team satisfaction. This role owns all spa policies and procedures and provides direct supervision of the Spa Manager, along with the Nail Technicians, Massage Therapists, Estheticians, Hair Stylists, and Spa Concierge, creating, maintaining, and overseeing a marketable and profitable spa program that meets or exceeds financial goals while upholding the highest standards of service and guest experience from the resort’s pre‑opening phase onward.
