Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas is seeking an experienced Banquets Chef to lead large-scale events with culinary excellence.

You will manage banquet kitchen operations, plan high-end menus, mentor staff, and ensure flawless service for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings at our luxury property in Los Cabos. Fluency in Spanish and English, plus 5+ years in a luxury banquet environment, is required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for effective communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of banquet kitchen management in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Proven leadership in high-volume catering environments with exceptional service.
• Strong knowledge of banquet production, menu planning, buffets and plated service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and execution of banquet menus for weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and special functions.
• Oversee all banquet kitchen operations, including production, staffing, and event execution while upholding safety and quality.
• Recruit, train, and develop banquet culinary team members to foster high performance.
• Manage food and labor costs, inventory, and waste reduction to maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations across events.
