Job summary

Citigroup is seeking an entry level Field Sales Team Lead to provide leadership to a team delivering sales support for Citi clients and assisting the Consumer Sales team in achieving targets. Responsibilities include managing performance, expanding accounts, cross-selling, and ensuring compliance with laws and Citi policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of team members
• Service existing accounts and establish new accounts at designated location or assigned geographical coverage area in order to increase revenue for the bank
• Proactively approach Citi clients to establish real needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in Citi's products
• Provide advice and product information to Citi clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits
• Identify cross-selling opportunities to sell other products
• Achieve or exceed decided sales targets
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
