Job summary

Hitachi Digital LLC seeks a seasoned HR Operations professional to lead Benefits and Absence programs for LATAM, with backup support for North America. You will partner with Global HR, Payroll, and Legal to ensure compliant, high-quality service across regions.

The role requires strong vendor management, experience in HRIS (Workday) and payroll systems, and fluency in English and Spanish. Travel and regional coordination may be involved as part of global HR transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including Benefits and Absence administration.
• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating teams in an HR Operations or Shared Services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Latin America and U.S. employee benefits administration and Leave of Absence programs.
• Experience managing relationships with benefits providers, leave administrators, brokers, and third-party vendors.
• Experience collaborating with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, Legal, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day delivery of Benefits and Absence operations with focus in Latin America and as a back up for North America.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex employee, manager, vendor, and stakeholder inquiries related to Benefits, Leave of Absence, PTO, and other absence programs.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Procurement, IT, managers, and external vendors for seamless administration of Benefits and Absence programs.
• Manage relationships with benefits providers, leave administrators, brokers, and third-party vendors, monitoring service delivery and driving improvements.
• Oversee the full lifecycle administration of Benefits and Absence programs including enrollment, leaves, PTO, terminations, and open enrollment.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, internal controls, and audit requirements while supporting audits and data validation activities.
