Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an Area Shift Manager to lead a large, diverse team onsite in Mexico. You will supervise daily operations, manage safety, and drive productivity across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

This is an entry-level management role with a focus on developing people and optimizing processes to meet customer demand. You will analyze performance, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes while fostering a supportive team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift including weekends/nights/holidays.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
• Analyze and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity across all shifts.
• Support and lead a team and handle administrative work while building a strong team culture.
• Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and customer service.
• Promote best practice and continuous process improvements across your team in health and safety and productivity.
• Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.
