Job summary

Amazon Mexico is seeking an Area Manager in Operations to lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse. You will mentor, motivate, and coach your team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency during shifts.

As a front-line leader, you will implement KPI driven goals, enforce policies, and collaborate with management to sustain high standards. The role involves non-remote work with rotating shifts (4x3 or 5x2) and regular coverage on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading)
• Flexible hours including overnights, weekends and holidays
• Experience developing and implementing KPI goals and strategies

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 30 to 100 Amazon Associates
• Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance
• Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
• Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
