Epikso Mexico is seeking an experienced professional for a hybrid role based in Mexico (Guadalajara or Mexico City office). The candidate should be heavy on Java, Unix/Linux and SQL, with 6-10 years of experience preferred. The role involves maintaining and improving SRE strategies, debugging, and collaborating with development teams.

The position offers a pay rate of $20–$22 per hour, with one day per week in-office. Strong communication and documentation skills are desirable.

Formación

• Experience level: Level L2/L3 Application Support, preferably 6–10 years.
• Technical skills: Unix/Linux, Java (OOP), good DB understanding.
• Proficient coding and debugging abilities.

Location: Hybrid (1 Day per week working from Goldman Sachs Office from Guadalajara / Mexico City office)

Pay Rate: $20/hr - $22/hr

Experience preferably: 6-10 years

Role Summary: Candidate need to be heavy on Java + Unix/Linux + SQL

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a proactive approach throughout the day, with the ability to analyze, debug, and resolve issues.
• Develop and enhance the SRE strategy to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the plant.
• Efficiently elevate issues to the development team, raise incidents, manage impact, and communicate with users and stakeholders.
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency.
• Escalate issues to management on both support and development sides, raise problem tickets, and collaborate with development teams to address issues and drive transformations.
• Possess a solid understanding of technical concepts and be capable of writing code when necessary.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and code snippets to resolve issues and share them with the team.

Key criteria:

• Level L2, L3 Application Support experience, preferably in the 6-10 years range.
• Technical Skills: Unix/Linux, any object-oriented programming experience (Java), with a good understanding of databases.
• Proficient in coding and debugging.
