Job summary

Kiewit Mexico is seeking an IT leader for the Technology Group to guide field technicians and manage end-user services across job sites in Querétaro. You will ensure safe operations, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgets while providing strong technical direction for infrastructure, networking, and site technologies.

The role requires 7+ years in IT with at least 3 years in leadership, experience in IT operations, procurement, and vendor management, and familiarity with ServiceNow and asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced technical certifications and leadership experience in IT operations, field support, or infrastructure management preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive IT experience including field support and end-user services; 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience with IT operations, vendor management, equipment inventory, procurement, budget management and forecasting, service management, incident management, and business continuity planning.
• Experience supporting job site technology deployments, mobilizations, and infrastructure changes preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• IT service management and ticketing systems (Service Now)
• Asset and inventory management systems - Remote support and collaboration tools

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Field Technicians.
• Oversee daily Technology Group operations, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget, and quality.
• Plan, prioritize, and allocate resources to support business needs.
• Develop and manage Technology Group budgets, forecasts and spending plans.
• Ensure onboarding, transfers, and offboarding processes, including access, accounts, licenses, and asset recovery.
• Provide technical leadership for end-user support, infrastructure, networking, and job site technology solutions.
• Collaborate with partners to develop IT estimates, project plans, and technology recommendations.
