Job summary

Essity is seeking an IT On-Site Team Leader LATAM to lead a regional on-site support organization across Latin America. You will manage a distributed team, ensure service quality, and align with global IT strategies while supporting manufacturing sites and offices in the region.

The role requires 3+ years of leadership in IT support within manufacturing, strong stakeholder skills, and proficiency in English and Spanish. Travel up to 30% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical or IT support teams.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial IT operations.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, end-user support, workplace technologies, and IT service management.
• Experience managing budgets and technology investments.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a distributed LATAM On-Site IT Support team.
• Ensure SLAs, incident resolution targets, and service standards are met.
• Oversee end-user services, hardware, connectivity, and network support.
• Collaborate with site leadership, stakeholders, and global IT teams.

• Contribute to incident resolution of complex issues.
• Coordinate on-call support and regional business continuity.
• Occasional travel to regional sites and global meetings.

About The Role

At Essity, we break barriers to well-being. We are looking for an IT On-Site Team Leader LATAM to lead our regional on-site support organization and ensure reliable, efficient, and user-focused IT services across Latin America.

In this role, you will combine people leadership, operational excellence, and technical expertise to support Essity’s manufacturing sites and offices while driving alignment with global IT strategies and standards.

This position is part of an international global team and will support the delivery of GSC IT On Site services to our manufacturing sites and distribution centers in different countries in Latin America Region and different business areas.

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of On-Site IT Support professionals across LATAM.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, incident resolution targets, and service delivery standards.
• Oversee IT infrastructure support activities, including end-user services, hardware, connectivity, and network-related issues.
• Partner with site leadership, business stakeholders, and global IT teams to address operational needs and drive continuous improvement.
• Support the implementation of global IT initiatives, processes, and governance standards.
• Participate in the resolution of critical incidents and complex technical issues when required.
• Coordinate on-call support activities and ensure business continuity across locations.
• Travel occasionally to regional sites and global meetings as needed.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technical or IT support teams.
• Experience supporting IT operations within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, end-user support, workplace technologies, and IT service management.
• Experience managing budgets and technology-related investments.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Availability to travel up to 30% across the region.
