Job summary

Essity is seeking an IT On-Site Team Leader LATAM to lead our regional on-site support organization, ensuring reliable and user-focused IT services across Latin America. The role blends people leadership with operational excellence and technical expertise to support manufacturing sites and offices while aligning with global IT standards.

You will manage a distributed team across LATAM, drive service delivery, and partner with site leadership and global IT to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Informatics, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical or IT support teams.
• Experience supporting IT operations in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, end-user support, workplace technologies, and IT service management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of On-Site IT Support professionals across LATAM.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, incident resolution targets, and service delivery standards.
• Oversee IT infrastructure support activities, including end-user services, hardware, connectivity, and network issues.
• Partner with site leadership, business stakeholders, and global IT teams to address operational needs and drive improvements.
• Support the implementation of global IT initiatives, processes, and governance standards.
• Participate in the resolution of critical incidents and complex technical issues when required.
• Coordinate on-call support activities and ensure business continuity across locations.
• Travel occasionally to regional sites and global meetings as needed.

About the Role

At Essity, we break barriers to well-being. We are looking for an IT On-Site Team Leader LATAM to lead our regional on-site support organization and ensure reliable, efficient, and user-focused IT services across Latin America.

In this role, you will combine people leadership, operational excellence, and technical expertise to support Essity's manufacturing sites and offices while driving alignment with global IT strategies and standards

This position is part of an international global team and will support the delivery of GSC IT On Site services to our manufacturing sites and distribution centres in different countries in Latin America Region and different business areas.

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of On-Site IT Support professionals across LATAM.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, incident resolution targets, and service delivery standards.

• Partner with site leadership, business stakeholders, and global IT teams to address operational needs and drive continuous improvement.
• Support the implementation of global IT initiatives, processes, and governance standards.

• Coordinate on-call support activities and ensure business continuity across locations.
• Travel occasionally to regional sites and global meetings as needed.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technical or IT support teams.
• Experience supporting IT operations within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, end-user support, workplace technologies, and IT service management.
• Experience managing budgets and technology-related investments.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Availability to travel up to 30% across the region.
