Job summary

Essity is seeking an IT On-Site Team Leader LATAM to lead our regional on-site support organization, ensuring reliable and user-focused IT services across Latin America. The role blends people leadership with operational excellence and technical expertise to support manufacturing sites and offices while aligning with global IT standards.

You will manage a distributed team across LATAM, drive service delivery, and partner with site leadership and global IT to meet business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Informatics, Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience leading technical or IT support teams.
Experience supporting IT operations in manufacturing/industrial environments.
Knowledge of infrastructure, end-user support, workplace technologies, and IT service management.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of On-Site IT Support professionals across LATAM.
Ensure compliance with SLAs, incident resolution targets, and service delivery standards.
Oversee IT infrastructure support activities, including end-user services, hardware, connectivity, and network issues.
Partner with site leadership, business stakeholders, and global IT teams to address operational needs and drive improvements.
Support the implementation of global IT initiatives, processes, and governance standards.
Participate in the resolution of critical incidents and complex technical issues when required.
Coordinate on-call support activities and ensure business continuity across locations.
Travel occasionally to regional sites and global meetings as needed.
