Job summary

ABB is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to own end-to-end regional commercial activities, reporting to the EVP International Sales. You will lead a distributed team, drive go-to-market strategy, manage the regional P&L, and coordinate with product and global operations to grow ABB Motion across the region.

The role emphasizes strategic market intelligence, portfolio feedback, and acquisition opportunities, with a hybrid work model and cross-functional collaboration across three Global Business

Qualifications

• 12+ years of senior commercial leadership in industrial B2B environments.
• Proven multi-country P&L accountability and profitable growth.
• Experience expanding markets and new customer bases beyond existing accounts.
• Ability to provide structured portfolio and pricing feedback to product leadership.
• Experience leading geographically distributed sales teams end-to-end.
• Fluency in English; additional regional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute regional go-to-market models and 3-year regional plans.
• Own the regional P&L including orders, revenue, gross margin, and profitability.
• Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships and manage channel partners.
• Provide market intelligence and feedback to product leadership on portfolio gaps and opportunities.
• Lead and inspire area sales managers and sales professionals; drive quarterly business reviews.
• Develop regional sales plans with clear objectives and monitor KPIs to meet targets.
