TransPerfect seeks an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support for employees and managers across the United States and Puerto Rico, serving as a trusted partner in employee relations, talent management, compliance, HR operations and performance management.

The role requires 5-7 years of HR experience, strong knowledge of US regulations, excellent English communication, and proficiency in MS Office and HRIS to support multi-location HR activities and confidential processes.

Formación

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of progressive HR experience including employee relations, performance management and lifecycle processes.
• 2-3 years HR Generalist experience partnering with employees and managers.
• Working knowledge of US federal, state, local laws incl. Puerto Rico employment laws.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with multi-priority management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with confidentiality and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with managers to address employee relations matters and guide on policies.
• Conduct employment-related investigations and liaise with legal counsel as needed.
• Support visa and immigration matters for employees with external counsel.
• Manage key lifecycle processes including performance management and organizational changes.
• Review and update handbooks, policies and procedures for compliance and alignment.
• Monitor legal changes and deliver trainings on leadership, policies and compliance.
• Evaluate HR processes and implement efficient, scalable improvements.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform additional HR duties and special projects as needed.
