Job summary

ProTrans International is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to support day-to-day HR processes for employees in Mexico. You will maintain records, process changes, support onboarding/offboarding, coordinate benefits, and ensure HRIS data accuracy.

You will assist with payroll data alignment, enrollment, and pre-hire activities, while handling confidential information with discretion. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred for NA HR environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in HR or related field; 4–7 years in HR operations or administration.
• Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now, Workday, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality in data handling.
• Excellent customer service and communication; bilingual EN/ES preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, onboarding documents, and status updates.
• Create and manage employee records, process new-hire documentation, and onboarding workflows.
• Process and record changes (promotions, transfers, comp updates, terminations).
• Verify payroll-related changes and align HR data with payroll outputs.
• Support enrollment and administration of benefits programs and documentation.
• Support recruitment and pre-hire activities, including background checks.
• Maintain HRIS information across personal data, compensation, attendance, and terminations.
• Support offboarding and ensure documents and system updates are completed.
• Assist with compliance reviews and audits; ensure documents are complete and stored.
• Respond to employee and manager questions; provide day-to-day HR admin support.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc HR reports using HRIS data and Excel.
• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement for accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with HR, Payroll, Finance to resolve data/process issues.
• Handle confidential information with discretion; coordinate office events and engagement initiatives.
