Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Mexico City is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for hotel construction projects. The role supports the delivery of multiple projects, coordinating with engineers, architects, and the client to meet time and cost targets.

You will help establish project success criteria, monitor progress, prepare reports, and manage information flow using MS Project and Office tools. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, at least 3 years’ experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related.
3+ years in similar roles.
Ability to develop reports and project follow ups.
Manage information flow between team and client via meetings and written communications.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control the project by managing change control processes.
Advise on project finances.
Read and understand documents defining the project (agreements, letters, charters, budgets, schedules, drawings).
Prepare project status reports, process purchase orders, update tracking reports, maintain due diligence files.
Proficiency in managing multiple timelines and projects, prioritizing, minimal supervision.
Manage project correspondence to facilitate, maintain and track.
