Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Mexico is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to analyze electromechanical installations, verify compliance with project specs and Mexican norms, and supervise contractor craftsmen on site. The role focuses on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems with a strong emphasis on commissioning and reporting.

Reporting to the project team, you will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams in English and Spanish, and

Qualifications

• Ten years professional experience with at least 5 years coordinating MEP design and construction on Industrial/Manufacturing/Data Center projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with Electric, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Automation Systems.
• Commissioning experience is required.
• PMI certification is a plus.
• LEED experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Spanish for meetings and communications.
• Knowledge of MS Project and Primavera P6.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM.

Responsibilities

• Analyze electromechanical installations and verify compliance with specs and norms.
• Elaborate and control reports; monitor contractor craftsmen and actions for improvement.
• Coordinate MEP design and construction activities on site.
• Lead day-to-day site monitoring and coordination with teams.
• Facilitate design reviews and client meetings.
• Prepare, issue and present reports; attend weekly project meetings.
