ARQ is seeking a Country Manager for Mexico to lead growth and operations. You will own the local P&L, drive user and revenue growth, and manage a cross-functional team in a high-growth fintech environment.

You will represent ARQ in Mexico, collaborate with global teams on strategy and localization, and build scalable processes for long-term expansion. Bilingual English/Spanish required with proven leadership in similar roles.

Formación

• 7+ years in senior ops at a high-growth tech company with P&L ownership.
• Deep understanding of the Mexican market and consumer behavior.
• Structured problem-solving and clear communication.
• Ability to coordinate external partners (media, celebrities, influencers).
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and owns projects end-to-end.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

• Represent ARQ in Mexico and build brand presence, including PR and earned media.
• Own local P&L, drive user and revenue growth, margins, and unit economics.
• Build relationships with local partners, brand ambassadors, influencers, and affiliates.
• Lead ATL campaigns across TV, OTT, OOH, radio to maximize reach.
• Voice of the local market; coordinate with global marketing to ensure branding consistency and localization.
• Create scalable processes; hire, develop, and lead the local team over time.

The Role

We are looking for a Country Manager for Mexico to lead our growth and operations in the country. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for representing ARQ locally, driving growth, and owning the country’s full P&L. You will act as the bridge between our global teams and the Mexican market bringing local insights to inform strategy and product roadmap, while executing campaigns that resonate with the local audience.

What you'll be doing

• Act as ARQ’s primary representative in Mexico and build and strengthen ARQ’s presence and brand in the market, including ARQ's PR and earned media presence in Mexico

• Own local P&L, driving user and revenue growth, margin optimization, and improved unit economics

• Build and maintain relationships with local partners, brand ambassadors, influencers, and affiliates

• Drive Above-The-Line (ATL) efforts, including TV, OTT, OOH, radio, and other mass media to maximize brand reach and efficiency

• Act as the voice of the local market, collaborate with global performance marketing and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and localisation across every channel

• Build scalable processes to support long-term growth, and hire, develop, and lead the local team over time

What you’ll need to succeed

• 7+ years of professional experience, including a senior operational role at a high-growth VC-backed tech company with P&L ownership; prior experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., BCG, Bain, McKinsey) or a bulge bracket investment bank is strongly preferred

• Deep understanding of the Mexican market and consumer behavior is a must

• Structured problem-solving: you break down ambiguous challenges into clear frameworks, move fast, and communicate findings with precision

• Ability to coordinate external partners: media, celebrities, influencers, or affiliates, and manage multiple relationships simultaneously

• A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes full ownership, and can lead projects end to end without hand-holding

• Track record of building and leading high-performing teams

• Proficiency in English and Spanish
