Job summary

Carazo Enterprise Sl is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead international People Operations, governance and a performance-driven HR system. You will own the full employee lifecycle and report directly to the CEO.

This hybrid/remote role offers a Panama office option, Latin America remote work, daily alignment with Panama business hours (9am–6pm), and occasional travel as needed to build scalable HR policies, compensation processes and career development paths.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as HR Director or senior HR leader.
• University degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
• Proven experience with performance management, employee relations and terminations.
• Experience developing and enforcing HR policies.
• Experience managing remote or international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the international People Operations and HR governance function.
• Develop HR strategy and support organizational design.
• Manage contracts, renewals and HR documentation.
• Maintain employee files, contract trackers and probation records.
• Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.
• Manage performance reviews, KPIs and PIP.
• Handle employee relations, complaints and disciplinary matters.
• Coordinate compensation, bonuses, benefits and payroll information.
• Build promotion, career-development and succession processes.
• Improve employee engagement and retention.
• Manage terminations, exit interviews and offboarding.
• Lead HR Generalist and future People Operations team.
• Maintain HR dashboards and report to CEO.
• Cooperate with Global Talent Acquisition Director on workforce planning.
