Job summary

Newell Brands in Mexico City is seeking an Employee Relations leader to support LATAM and cross-border HR initiatives. You will drive investigations, policy interpretation, and performance coaching in collaboration with Legal and HR teams.

You will partner with managers to manage employee relations, ensure compliance with local labor laws (Ley Federal del Trabajo) and promote fair treatment across the region, including LATAM jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 3–5 years in employee relations or HR generalist with ER focus.
• Fluent in Spanish; English fluency for global collaboration.
• Strong understanding of Mexican labor laws and LATAM regulations.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations activities across LATAM, including investigations.
• Provide policy interpretation and guidance to management and employees.
• Partner with Legal and HR to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Support performance management, coaching, and development plans.
• Collaborate with COEs on cross-functional HR initiatives.
