Veritiv in Mexico is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Collections specialist to manage US and international customer payments, reduce delinquency, and resolve invoicing discrepancies. Qualifications

• Experience handling AR and collections processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect payments from US and international customers.
• Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts.
• Provide customer service on collection issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow up on disputes to clear accounts.
• Monitor assigned accounts, reconciliations and payment plans.
• Influence clients to take desired actions.
• Coordinate with Credit & Collection Manager to release shipments.
• Guide other departments for proper follow-up with C&C.
• Process credit card payments as required.
• Communicate with sales/customers on account issues promptly.
• Prepare overdue portfolio reports for weekly reviews.
• Update client databases with payments/contact info.
• Suggest process improvements and revise AR collections work instructions.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve business results.
• Report weekly/monthly/quarterly metrics to AR manager.
