Veritiv is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist in Chihuahua to manage collections from US and international customers. You will reduce delinquency, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate customer records.

Responsibilities emphasize collaboration with sales and customer service, processing payments, and preparing weekly delinquency reports for management review.

Responsabilidades

• Collections of payments from US and International customers.
• Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned customer accounts
• Provide customer service on collection issues and follow up on the open invoices and discrepancies
• Follow up on disputes to resolve them and clear the accounts of assigned customers
• Monitor assigned accounts with calls, adjustments, write-offs, reconciliations and payment plans
• Influence external client to take desired actions by using appropriate techniques
• Review and coordinate with the Credit and Collection Manager to approve release of shipments to customers in credit hold
• Coordinate with sales and customer service for follow-up with the Credit & Collections department
• Process credit card payments as required and ensure they are approved
• Communicate and follow up effectively with sales and customer service regarding account issues promptly
• Prepare overdue portfolios and uncollected invoices for weekly reviews with Credit & Collection Management
• Update client databases related to payments or contact information
• Perform additional related projects and account reconciliations as requested by the department Manager
• Offer continuous process improvement suggestions and revise Accounts Receivable-collections instructions as requested
• Lead and support cross-functional projects to improve business results and expand better practices
• Communicate weekly, monthly and quarterly key measures to AR management on time
